Information of Göcek

Göcek lies in the middle of the Gulf of Fethiye at the foot of the mountains from which one has a view over 12 of the bay’s islands. Göcek is home to four important sports ports, all offering services to the tourist yachts in the area. One outstanding characteristic of the city is its position in regard to the ports and the coves, which are all situated in a great nearby bay. Thanks to this position it has great potential as a tourist yacht harbour. Göcek’s coves and its 12 islands are like a hidden paradise, with the clear Mediterranean waters, the green pine woods, and the beaches all helping to make Göcek an indispensable destination for seafarers.

The Gulf of Fethiye, and the port of Göcek offer the perfect starting point for visiting places of cultural interest such as Caunos, Telmessos, the Fethiye Museum, Tlos, Pınara, Letoon, Xanthos and Patara. Here there are many restaurants, cafés and bars along the front. The Mediterranean climate here has warm, dry summers, and the waters are perfect for sailing all year round.
